What is you video output, PAL/NTSC/720p, and what are yo viewing on NTSC CRT/HD1080p?.
I'll have to think about the implications of adding your Recently Viewed feature.

You could create a user preference containing the names of the series, as the series themself do not have a table.
When in the series view, maybe a color (blue?) button can be used to toggle a series as favorite?

The next question would be how to assign a Favourite?
fizze wrote:Also, this brings to mind favorites as a per-user setting. User1 has different favorites as User2, probably. This would require a new table linking users and tv_series, however. So maybe this is something for v2.00.
I'd say make it a colored button action on the TV series overview page to toggle the favorite status of the whole TV series. But all colored buttons are already used.
There is "Quick Play", "Turn Shuffle On", "Show unviewed", "Set viewed status".
I don't remember the original remote too well, but I don't think there would be any special buttons dedicated to "favorites" or the like. Alas, I can still configure one on my Harmony...
Other than that, I can think of adding a page in the settings menu dedicated to handling favorites.
