This is not a problem with GetID3, the message simply means that GetID3 doesn't support this filetype since VOB's do not contain metadata.
Is this issue only with VOB's or other filetypes too?
Which player are you using, a PCH? If it is a PCH then do you have a Network Share defined and assigned to any media location?
Could you also add some details to your signature.
