Release 1.20? - 2008/04/09 18:45 Rob,

Is there any reason not to release 1.20 now?

I have nothing outstanding for this release, and Stu has already commented elsewhere that things are currently stable.

Re: Release 1.20? - 2008/04/09 18:56 Well, will the final address the non-functioning tray icon in Vista? and the blank message window?

I have these two problems with the debug version. Otherwise, I haven't noticed any problems with its functional operation.

Re: Release 1.20? - 2008/04/09 19:01 It would be nice if we could get the patch into 1.20 to support the IStar Mini NMT player as well as the Popcornhour. It's only a 2 line change to capabilities.php

elseif ( strpos($_SERVER['HTTP_USER_AGENT'],'-QPG-')!== false )
$type = 'POPCORN';

Would do nicely

Those are issues with Simese.. not SwissCenter.

However, the new version of SwissCenter has the schedule function built into the config.

If you guys can fix the Main Menu... let er go....

The Main Menu is perfectly functional... I say let it go and await feedback on how we can improve it.

Yep.. and my screens once again have that "Please Select" on them

Might as well create tickets for the Main Menu and the RSS back button.

I shut off a main menu item to fix the Main Menu issue. I imagine others will want to do the same.

Don't want to appear as if I'm putting a damper on things. It's a very nice release guys. Well done.

Hmmm no reports. Looks like you have a squeaky clean release. Either that or nobody noticed

Let´s wait for the EU to wake up tomorrow

We´ll probably do a point release in a couple of weeks if anything crops up, including the ´Please select´ and main menu inconvenience.

Re: Release 1.20? - 2008/04/11 06:36 I've just updated and with the Popcorn Hour things are even worse now than they were before for me. I'm using the SyKik style if that makes a difference with an HD plasma (1024x768) and the Popcorn Hour is set to output a 1080i signal. On the main menu I can only see the first letter of each menu item apart from RSS Feeds which has [ ] around it. Even the Please select an item only displays P.

Is there any way to go back to 1.19 as that was better, I could at least read the menu items on that one.

Re: Release 1.20? - 2008/04/11 07:36 Please disregard previous post. After upgrading things looked worse on the menus but then the server started acting really slow and unresponsive so rebooted my PC and now all looks perfect on the menu front Good work guys, my Popcorn Hour looks better than ever now!

Re: Release 1.20? - 2008/04/11 15:34 Sparky,

The problem you had is probably due to the language files changing. There is now an in-built language editor which saves the languages as XML rather than TXT. Restarting SwissCenter will (as you´ve noticed) sort this out.
