 SC1000 Firmware Upgrade - 2008/01/03 22:30 Hey,

Just got a used SC1000, but of course, no CD. I would like to upgrade the firmware before playing with SwissCenter, but don't have the Key for the Pinnacle software to do it. Can anyone help? Thanks!

If the person you got the ShowCenter from had registered it, they should be able to go the Pinnacle site and retreive the key for you. If this isn't possible, you should contact Pinnacle support for help (note that they aren't exactly known for customer service and the initial response is likely that they only provide support to the original purchaser).

From the Pinnacle site:

Please contact our support team via our online support www.pinnaclesys.com/support and submit a request for a new serial number. With this request, it is required that you send us a proof of purchase for the product (scan of the bill)

Well, since you've only got $5 into that one, an option might be to snag another 1000 from somewhere cheap that has the cd. You can never have enough media players Showcenters 1000g/200/250HD Popcorn Hour A-100
