TV Seris navigation - 2010/02/25 06:27 Was wondering if the left and right arrows could be used to change between series on the TV series browser, because at the moment you have to scroll back up to the top of one series to be able to move the 'cursor' onto the series selection bar?

Maybe a left and right arrow icon to select to do the swap?

Re: TV Seris navigation - 2010/02/25 08:09 We cannot use the left/right arrows as these are required for general navigation. The prev/next buttons would be a good alternative but unfortunately the prev button cannot be mapped as it is the same as return to previous page on some systems.

I'll see if it's possible to map the rev/fwd buttons instead.

Edit: Been unable to determine TVID codes for rev/fwd buttons. How about pressing some other button to return to first page of episodes?

Re: TV Seris navigation - 2010/02/25 14:18 Other option would be when you get to the bottom of the list scrowling down will take you to the top of the list.

other thought would be when you are on the episode screen, and on the last episode of the season (i.e. when there is no 'Next Episode' button) there could be a 'Next Season' button???

Re: TV Seris navigation - 2010/03/07 18:44 I'v had a look at the tv series 'selected' page and it seems simple enough to make a 'Next Season' Button apear if there is a next season when at the end of the current ones episodes.

I'll have a go at getting this to work next week when I have some time, although my PHP knowledge is limited I think it has grown enough to at least try this.....

Re: TV Seris navigation - 2010/03/16 03:53 I wanted this feature too, so you triggered me to change this.
I added 'Next Series' and 'Previous Series' to the 'tv_episode_selected.php'

You also need to alter the language file of the language you are using and add the code below:
Code:

        <string>         <id>SR_NEXT</id>         <text>Next Series</text>         <version>1.22</version>       </string>       <string>         <id>SR_PREV</id>         <text>Previous Series</text>         <version>1.22</version>       </string>

good luck

Note: I also added a (<series>x<episode> ) to the next/prev.
