Expert Housekeeping help required - 2008/10/08 05:56 Help ! I would like a SwissCenter expert to advise me on where the components and data of SwissCenter/Simese should ideally be (MS XP). My installation works but it is a mess and I would like to sort it out non-destructively !

I have attached two observational files for anyone with the inclination to look.

Thanks

Re: Expert Housekeeping help required - 2008/10/08 06:11 I tried to attach a .rtf file on my post but failed.
Here is the missing file in .txt format

Re: Expert Housekeeping help required - 2008/10/10 12:26 I'll try to answer your questions in detail over the weekend when I have more time.

A couple of quick notes:
The installer now installs to Application Data to be Vista friendly. If you're using XP then you can safely move everything to your Program Files folder. Then edit the relevant ini files to point Simese to your PHP and MySQL.

Do you want to keep Simese or would you prefer Apache? (Simese is much easier).

Re: Expert Housekeeping help required - 2008/11/02 10:01 Tks for the reply Pernod I've been away so didn't see it. I'm in no rush !

Yes I do want to continue with Simese (much easier as you say).

Cheers
