 system error installation - 2008/09/13 18:23 In the configuration i get a warning and a fatal error:

Warning: dl() [function.dl]: Dynamically loaded extensions aren't enabled in /var/www/swisscenter/base/image.php on line 50

Fatal error: Call to undefined function imagecreatetruecolor() in /var/www/swisscenter/base/image.php on line 251

Has anyoe got the same error. If i search get get nothing. Can anybody help me? I've ubuntu 8.04 and a popcorn hour.

I tried using my SwissCenter/ShowCenter instllation for the first time in a couple of months last night. It is also the first time I have use it since performing an Ubuntu 7.10 to 8.04 upgrade.

All the UI pages and config pages have the header:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function imagecreatetruecolor() in /var/www/swisscenter/base/image.php on line 251

I am also unable to refresh media content.

I have performed a SissCenter upgrade to 1.21, but the issues still remains. I think I'll try a fresh install (in VMware) using Ubuntu 8.04 and see it the issue remains. I will report my findings here.

 Re: system error installation - 2008/09/22 18:11 Well...the fresh install on a clean OS worked...So I can only assume it an issue with the 7.10 to 8.04 upgrade.

I'm gonna uninstall from the upgrade OS and see if a fresh install of SwissCenter sorts it out as well.
