Re: German Language - 2008/01/09 16:27In /data/lang/de you'll find the german translation file. If you fill in the gaps and post it to the forum language support it will be part of the next release.

Re: German Language - 2008/01/09 16:48No, there're no hard coded parts. Probably some parts are missing in the German version. Check the English version (which is leading), copy and paste the missing parts and translate the English translation of the “codes” into German.

Re: German Language - 2008/01/09 16:51The english language strings are taken from the en.txt file if they cannot be found in the de.txt file. If you load the en.txt file into an editor you'll see the missing strings (or go to http://localhost:8080/lang/differences.php for a list of strings that still need translating).
One of the features for the next version will be to improve the way in which language strings are updated - probably through a nice web interface rather than manually editing text files Player : Pinnacle Showcenter 200 and 1000 (wired ethernet) Server : Windows XP Pro running on an Athlon XP 2200, 768 Mb RAM, 1.8 Tb storage.

The iTunes strings are still missing, I'll have a look at it in the following days.

One minor issue I just discovered (but was already in the old language file): In setting / category ist should be "Ausgewählte Kategorien entfernen" instead auf "auswählen" ...
I've also corrected some minor spelling mistakes and made a general review, the result is attached. I tried to correct some inconsistencies (Du/Sie, last.fm/Last.FM) as well.
