Heads up DVDs $3.99 (SALE OVER) - 2007/03/05 17:48Circuit City is apparently having a sale on DVDs for only $3.99. My wife was out and grabbed some titles that she knew we didn't have and I subsequently checked the ad and sent her back for a few more since that's what it costs to rent a single movie around here it seemed like a pretty sweet deal.
I think the sale lasts until March 10th but I wouldn't expect the best titles to last long ...

More Cheap DVDs - 2007/09/04 09:20This weeks sale did not come from Circuit City or Best Buy...
We were at a shopping center and the Hollywood Video was having a $1.99 sale. Being more interested in this than cake mix, I decided to check it out. In addition to the 1.99 titles they had racks of 4 for $10 and of course, 3.99 and up.
Now I'm not a fan of previously viewed movies and was going to pass when the salesperson informs me that all the DVDs (regardless of price) come with a lifetime guarantee. Hmmm.. ok, they have a few decent titles (The Pink Panther, The Grudge, The Exorcist, Lady in the Water, etc) so I grab a few to add to the media library.
Just another way to expand the collection ...

This weeks Red Box pick is Evan Almighty which was actually much better than I thought it would be... look for Spiderman 3 on the 30th.

For instance, you can grab all four Lethal Weapon movies for $11.99 which is a pretty sweet deal.
Red Box title pick this week is Shrek 3.
