New firmware for showcenter 200 - 2005/12/18 13:55 Pinnacle has released a new version of the firmware for Showcenter 200 supporting OGG media files and hopefully fixing the silence problem for VBR MP3s. I'll install it and report back.

Re:New firmware for showcenter 200 - 2006/01/25 05:16 Hello!

The vbr-problem is not fixed in the current firmware. sc200 having problems with vbr-encoded files using some versions of lame-encoder.

This problem does not occur while playing music with the original pinnacle-software.
Reason: Pinnacle uses the track-length from their database (sql) and not from the files.

greetings from austria

Re:New firmware for showcenter 200 - 2006/03/17 15:39 I'm new to the SwissCenter and am finding it much more useable/usefull than the Pinnacle ShowCenter 200 software. --Bravo SwissCenter!

--I was about to post my problem about playing mp3 music files and thought this sounded similar. Do you experience either a long space between songs or if the song doesn't have a long fade but rather has an abrupt ending that it repeats several seconds of the ending of the song? ie- I would guess that this would indicate an incorrect, of some sort, identification of the track length.

Is there a cure for this hickup?

Thanks!
