Problems with update after upgrade to latest SVN - 2008/10/06 06:50Hi,
after upgrading to the latest SVN version this morning (and looking forward to the integration of DVDs in the nomal video tree), DVDs are no longer found, I get the following errors:

Re: Problems with update after upgrade to latest SVN - 2008/10/06 07:38Can you check your media locations. Any media locations that were of media type 'DVD Video' should now be 'Video'. The type 'DVD Video' has been removed.
The update should've automatically changed this for you.Player : Netgear EVA700 & Popcorn A-100 (081106) Server : Vista SP1 Home Premium (Simese 2.07, SwissCenter current SVN) Spec : Intel C2Q Q6600, 2GB RAM, 1Tb storage.

Re: Problems with update after upgrade to latest SVN - 2008/10/06 07:50My DVD media location was removed by the update.
Before the rescan I readded it with the media type "Video" and the network folder definition for my PCH.
The error reported ("You have an error in your SQL syntax") does not really look like a missing media location ...

Re: Problems with update after upgrade to latest SVN - 2008/10/06 08:46I asked about the media location because the SQL syntax is missing the database table 'movies', which could only happen if it doesn't know what type of media is assigned to a media location.
Can you export your settings to xml, zip it and attach here.Player : Netgear EVA700 & Popcorn A-100 (081106) Server : Vista SP1 Home Premium (Simese 2.07, SwissCenter current SVN) Spec : Intel C2Q Q6600, 2GB RAM, 1Tb storage.

Re: Problems with update after upgrade to latest SVN - 2008/10/08 03:19Settings attched. I have also taken a look at the media_locations table in the database, looks good to me.

Re: Problems with update after upgrade to latest S - 2008/10/08 12:38An update:
After deleting and recreating the DVD folder and my DVD category from the media locations, I do no longer get errors, however no files are found either ...
I triple checked the media location - no extra spaces, everything fine.
The DVD directory contains only ISO files, JPEGs with covers and XML files from previous scans.
I tried a re-run with logging at 8, no useful information in there.
Then I tried to remove the PCH network folder from the media location definition - after that all DVDs were found on the next rescan!
After that, I reassigned the PCH network folder to the media location - now playback works as well.

That's interesting, I'll look into it.Player : Netgear EVA700 & Popcorn A-100 (081106) Server : Vista SP1 Home Premium (Simese 2.07, SwissCenter current SVN) Spec : Intel C2Q Q6600, 2GB RAM, 1Tb storage.
