Yes. I intended to move the server to a new machine running Vista Home Premium 64-bit. After having installed the new Simese 2.5.x combo on that system I encountered enourmous performance problems with SwissCenter. A full media scan takes several hours, editing movie details is almost impossible because the selection pages are incomplete and show only one or two rows of titles and it takes ages to display pages on the screen. So I decided not to delete the 'old' server on the XP machine and continue using it as the main system.
In the meantime I updated the XP machine to the 2.5.10 combo. It's a bit slower than the old 1.4.x combo but that's neglectable. Everything else is working as before.
For a test I also uninstalled the 2.5. combo from the Vista system and replaced it with the 1.4. combo and all the performance problems disappeared. So it seems to me that Simese 2.5. doesn't like Vista 64-bit systems....
