Recently we've had quite a few users with database issues with their clients table. We suspect these are new installations from your PCH download package. Can you check that it's not corrupt, and/or rebuild with the 1.21 release.
Especially annoying as these are new users trying SwissCenter for the first time with the PCH.

I can confirm that. I made a new Simese installation about 5 weeks ago. Swisscenter 1.20.1 was running without any problem. The corrupt client table problem emerged when I updated to 1.21 It was probably corrupt when you installed but 1.20 didn't do much with it so no errors were occuring. Fixed it with a sql statement found in the forums. Upgraded to 1.21 yesterday and there was no problem.As the finishing touch, God created the dutch

I downloaded the Simese/SC package on Aug. 10 with Simese 1.45. Everything was working very sufficiently (except some well known PCH-A100 issues).
I upgraded recently to SC 1.21 and I got big problems (video not working anymore). Then I downloaded/copied the Simese 2.05 code, however, no success.
Yesterday I decided to start from scratch again with SC 2.05.
JoeClients: Popcorn A-100, Mozilla Firefox on MS Vista Business SP1.0 Media storage on NAS: Synology DS207+ 1st SC 1.21.1 SVN1117 installed on DS207+ with FW 7.22 utilizing: Apache 2.2.8 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.8, MySQL 5.0.51b, OpenSSL 0.9.8g, PHP 5.2.6 2nd SC 1.21.1 SVN1117 installed on WIN-XP, Simese 2.07, PHP 4.4.4, mySQL 4.0.21 GbE network with Zyxel GS-108A PCH-A100 connected via HDMI in 1920x1080p to display.

Don't know exactly. I downloaded and installed it about 5 weeks ago.

Re: SwissCenter download package corrupt - 2008/09/17 11:53If everything works fine with PHP5 I'll add this version. Some time ago I created a package with PHP5 and MySQL 5 for Rob. As far as I remember there were some issues, but that was an older SwissCenter version.

Maybe we should update MySQL too, would need to do some testing first though.

If I add a debug echo at the top of the index.php, it is written, but it looks like php exists after the first line 'require_once( realpath(dirname(__FILE__).'/base/page.php'));'
The same on the command-line: php-cgi.exe "\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Simese\Data\index.php" dumps the headers and nothing more.
My PHP experience is very limited, so any suggestions where to look?

Extract the files to the Program Files\Simese\MySQL folder and start MySQL by:

C:\Program Files\Simese\MySQL>mysqld.exe --basedir="c:\Program Files\Simese\MySQL" --datadir="c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Simese\MySQL"
(change the folders to your situation)
Now run mysql_upgrade.exe and see what happens....

Somehow in my efforts I lost the database. I just re-installed Simese and have the new MySQL now... rebuilding database.... no big thing...
