No Album art, no MP3 now playing screen, php error - 2008/08/19 05:54 Just posted this in the bugs section, repeating here as i dont think i should have put it there?

Having a few problems............. Cant get album art to display when an album is chosen, but art is shown if I browse the file system. Also when selecting an album on the pinnacle SC1000 i get the progress bar on the screen as the tracks play but I dont get the album details on the screen.

Also keep getting the following error;

Warning: fopen(C:/Documents and Settings/All Users/Application Data/Simese/Data/log/support.log) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Simese\Data\base\file.php on line 136
Unable to write to logfile: C:/Documents and Settings/All Users/Application Data/Simese/Data/log/support.log

Movies,artwork and data from parsers all working well.

Any ideas?

When I installed first time round, following the installation I went in and added my categories, then did the full media search. It wasnt until I turned on a Pinnacle showcenter that I used the update button.

Even though I updated the software via the Pinnacle at this point it didnt solve my problem.

So, I removed swisscenter, reinstalled and before adding any media did the update via the Pinnacle. Now, having added the media all is well.

Re: No Album art, no MP3 now playing screen, php error - 2008/10/21 11:23 Your initial post would seem to indicate file permission issues with WHS.

The no now playing screen when playing music would suggest that you didn't have the gd module enabled in PHP.

Overall I think your problems were caused by file permission issues, which seem to now be fixed. Player : Netgear EVA700 & Popcorn A-100 (081106)
Server : Vista SP1 Home Premium (Simese 2.07, SwissCenter current SVN)
Spec : Intel C2Q Q6600, 2GB RAM, 1Tb storage.

Re: No Album art, no MP3 now playing screen, php error - 2008/11/01 12:32 Some notes on installing on WHS:

1. You must install as the administrator user, otherwise you may encounter permission problems.

2. You must specify your media paths using the share names, and NOT referencing them directly from the D: drive (for example, use " //homeserver/videos/movies"). This is important because of the way in which WHS does it's file duplication.
