Speech out of Sync - 2009/04/01 17:53 Just started to watch a movie and the speech was about 3 seconds behind the lip movement.. playing via Oxyl was fine. any ideas on this one?

Re: Speech out of Sync - 2009/04/02 05:20 That doesn't make sense - SwissCenter only sends the file to the player, it doesn't do any processing or translation whatsoever. Server : Windows Home Server (HP MediaSmart EX470)
Player #1: Pinnacle Showcenter 200 (wired ethernet)
Player #2: Popcorn Hour A110 (wired ethernet)

Hi TrOjAn!

whats your playback device, and how many audio tracks does your file have, i experienced a somewhat simular behaviour with .avis with 2 audio tracks on my showcenter 250hd, playback on the pc was in sync, playback on sc wasnt (dont have any other server soft installed though) however switching the audio tracks (in my case german->english-german) brought the audio back in sync with the video (as it was on the pc)

maybe this is of some help?

Re: Speech out of Sync - 2009/04/02 14:03 Hi, its the OLD 1000g Showcenter.. after a reboot it seemed OK..

However, I have decided to go back to XP as Linux for me is just so hard.. 2 days to get swisscenter working, its just to frustrating, thanks for the reply.. maybe try again before I die
