when I press the "fast forward" button on certain films and after that the play button I am somewhere in the middle of the film. It seems to be randomly, sometimes it play from the beginning somtimes later or at the end. I see no system. Some films show this behaviour some don't. Any ideas?

Re: Fast foward - 2008/10/15 14:48I have seen similar when it looks like the bookmarks are being built/looged ( you can see in the simese log many entires) and then all of a sudden the movie is 10 minutes in. I saw this get better in later relaease of Simese and SC on windows especialy when using .VOB insted of mpeg. So i wonder if it is related to the file format as much as anything ... just a thought.

Re: Fast foward - 2008/10/21 02:58Hi,
I am using PCH A-100 with Simese Version 2.0.5 and latest SC patch. I have the effect when playing .vob regardless what tool I use to create them.

Re: Fast foward - 2008/10/25 10:17I made some tests. Recoded the VOB (I know it is already mpeg2) through Nero recode to mp4 and fast foward runs perfectly.
Why do I have those problems with vob files?
